Doug Williams and Associates is a business consulting firm that helps small businesses with strategic planning and putting in place business systems for growth. One of the most common areas that we are asked to help with is the hiring process. We work with systems for effective selecting and recruiting of employees.
We strongly advocate the use of behavioral interviewing. We developed Hiring Owl based on the DISC personality assessment to meet the demand for an employment test that would not only create a behavioral profile of the individual applicant, but also give a way to create a DISC profile for the job. Hiring Owl then calculates the match between the candidate and the ideal job DISC profile.
Founded in 2002, Doug Williams and Associates (DWA) focuses on the needs of the small business. Doug has an MBA and 22 years of top management experience. DWA offers a full line of small business consulting and website marketing services. The focus is on helping businesses with less than 100 employees. We have worked with larger companies, but we enjoy the fast paced, flexible dynamics that a small business has. It is much easier to effect change in a smaller organization.

Doug Williams is the founder of Doug Williams and Associates (DWA). A results oriented business consultant Doug is experienced in designing and implementing strategic plans and business systems. His key strength is the ability to originate and implement change. Doug has expertise in financial, operations and general management in companies experiencing rapid change in both high growth and start-up situations. He has served on the Board of Directors for 5 companies.
DWA is located in Vancouver, WA. This is in southwestern part of Washington State. Our local service area is the Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon metro areas. DWA works with clients throughout the western US by phone and by traveling to their location.
